Other cheaper vivariums often use hardboard for back panels, which has a low compression structure and a paint or foil surface, meaning the lifespan of the product is very short. Vivexotic Vivariums however use the same robust chipboard panels for all sides of their vivariums; front, back, top, bottom and sides. This is five times thicker than hardboard and means that their vivariums last many years longer than cheaper competitors. Made from wood, they are strong but malleable, meaning that it is very easy to make alterations or improvement such as installing lighting or heating, and the great insulation properties of wood means that the heat in your vivarium is retained more efficiently.
