Adaptil

Adaptil products contain DAP – Dog Appeasing Pheromone – which is an artificial version of the natural chemical signal given off by a puppy’s mother while she is nursing her pups. It is odourless, does not cause drowsiness and will not conflict with any other medications.

Over the past decade DAP has been used by animal behaviour specialists and welfare charities to help puppies adjust to their new homes and help adult dogs deal with stressful situations such as travelling, staying in kennels or during fireworks season. The benefits of DAP have been published in 18 different scientific studies.

The Adaptil range of products includes collars that can be worn by individual dogs and diffusers and sprays that can work for all dogs within an enclosed area.
