Once you have your puppy home there is no reason why you cannot slowly move it off its current food onto something you are more comfortable feeding. Some breeders will feed more budget puppy foods due to the high numbers of mouths to feed and you may wish to upgrade your puppy to a higher quality food, or it may be that the breeder fed the most top of the line food which you simply cannot afford and need to come down to the more usual “super premium puppy food” level.
