- After suspecting that my 4 year old Springer was intolerant to cereals and rice I started looking for a grain free food. I initially tried an 80/20 variety but although this seemed OK for my Springer my younger Cocker Spaniel began to lose weight (regardless of how much I fed him) and became even more hyperactive than usual. Further research led me to Country Kibble and I haven't looked back - they both love it, are maintaining a healthy weight (which is particularly important for my Springer who also has hip dysplasia) and are happy contented pups. They are both very active dogs (despite the hip dysplasia) and at their last Vet check-up were described as 'super-fit and very healthy'. The cost of Country Kibble is excellent compared to other similar available brands (even taking in to account the delivery costs - I order 2 bags at a time to keep delivery costs as low as possible) - I've been feeding it for about 10 months now and have no plans to change.
